黄兴国透露说，将着力抓好一批技术水平高、带动作用强、发展潜力大、资源消耗低的项目建设，扩大汽车、乙烯、无缝钢管、造修船等生产规模。空客Ａ３２０飞机实现批量生产，新一代运载火箭产业化基地项目建成投产。形成电子信息、航空航天、石油化工、汽车机械、现代冶金等一批国家级产业基地。推动海洋经济发展，做大海洋产业。
今后五年，天津还将充分发挥海空两港优势，加快建设北方国际航运中心和国际物流中心。同时，全面加快基础设施建设，畅通与周边地区和腹地的联系。建成国际贸易与航运服务区，扩大“无水港”建设，完善大通关体系，加强跨区域口岸合作。
金伟认为，对于冶金装备制造企业而言，要用心研究在宏观调控下，冶金企业对生产装备的需求变化。比如，随着“节能减排”工作的不断深入，钢铁生产企业对于节能和防止污染的装备十分迫切，这一市场前景十分广阔。无锡应达工业有限公司瞄准这一市场，正在推出一种新颖的节能型固态高频焊机，这种焊机比电子管高频焊接机可能降低电耗20%以上，每吨焊接钢管的可节电20-30度，而且采用这一当代国际先进的焊机，其焊缝质量好，平整度高，钢管的强度高，可以用于高压输送管道、油井管等替代无缝管。价格比进口的同类产品低三分之一，使用寿命达到20年以上。这一先进的节能型焊机在中国制管业推广应用，将会带来很大的节能效应。这也是作为冶金装备制造企业的努力方向。

M1m足迹小，不超过1平方米，并提供自动存储送料/卸料装置以及顶部和底部油墨/激光打标机选项。YESTech的离线编程软件使工程师能够实现远程系统编程，同时，M1m继续执行生产。该系统还标配统计过程控制（SPC）数据采集能力，所有联网用户均可享用。
